Located in St Paul Minnesota, ChampionChip Minnesota times and scores events across the country. Some of our larger events include Twin Cities Marathon and Grandmas Marathon. While running makes up a large portion of our events, we also time the NorthShore Inline Marathon (largest Inline Marathon in North America, the Mora Vasaloppet Cross Country Ski Race, and many Triathlons. We also score many large Cross Country Running events such as the Roy Griak Invitational Cross Country race and have timed several NCAA Division III National Championships. ChampionChip Minnesota is one of the first companies to use ChampionChip® technology in the United States. Our first event was in March of 1998.

John Magnuson, the owner of ChampionChip Minnesota has been involved in running and race directing since 1974. He started running in April of 1974 and in April of 1975 he was running the Boston Marathon. He continues to run, but races infrequently.
